Welcome to my students both current and new, who are currently learning woodwind instruments!  These are difficult times, but there is no need for your music to suffer.  If you are looking for someone to teach Woodwind lessons via zoom that will enable you to carry on your studies from home without interruption, then I am very happy to help.

I teach pupils from beginner to Grade 8, and it is a real pleasure to watch my students grow and develop their talents on their chosen woodwind instrument such as the flute, oboe or clarinet.  Whilst some go on to professional careers others gain a lifetime of pleasure from playing to a high standard and there is no doubt that, even in difficult times such as these, music is helping to lighten the load of care and worry.

So, I am currently pleased to offer woodwind lessons via Zoom to my current and new pupils and it is great to find that modern technology and platforms such as Zoom and Skype by phone or laptop are making teaching online easier so that you don`t slip back in your learning.

I am always rewarded by assisting my pupils on to  stretch themselves and once restrictions are lifted we will again be able to play an active role within our schools or local area and have a great deal of pleasure doing so!  So if you are a keen woodwind player looking to progress your talents, woodwind lessons via Zoom (or Skype) is now the way to go.

If you are new to my page, please take a look at some of the other parts of this website which document my professional career over 30 years.  Presently, as part of the musical teaching fraternity since moving to Norfolk I have been teaching at the Norwich SchoolNCYM (Norfolk Centre for Young Musicians) and the Norfolk Music Service.  NCYM is a Saturday Music School here in the City of Norwich (one of of only five CYM Music Academies here in the UK directed by the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, one of the world`s leading Conservatoires).

In addition to individual lessons I have also been directing Jazz & Saxophone Ensembles at Norwich School & NCYM.

Your woodwind lessons via Zoom will continue in the same way as before for about 30 minutes.  Try and arrange a quiet room without distractions at home and set up your laptop or phone so that we can communicate easily.  For a prompt start it is best to get ready about 10 minutes in advance to ensure that you can log in at the correct time.

If you would like to continue your lessons, please contact me for your log in details and the time, and we can get started.
