Although he had received a terminal cancer prognosis Roger was determined to find the strength to write, produce and publish `Closer`, his final album. His strong Faith, creative energy and commitment enabled him to do so - not only for his personal fulfilment but as he describes in his own words below and on the album, out of his lifelong desire to touch people with both his music and with the love of God. Roger leaves a profoundly meaningful and lasting creative and spiritual legacy. It was my privilege to journey with my dear friend over many years, for many projects, concerts and worship events and to join him for this most challenging and most beautiful final album.
